LAWYER REFERRAL SERVICE
Canadian Bar Association provides service to help you select lawyer who may assist with your legal problem
• if you do not know where to find a lawyer, phone the Lawyer Referral Service in your area
• you will be given name, telephone number and address of a lawyer who practices in area you choose
• lawyer will provide initial consultation of up to one half-hour for small fee
• should you require assistance beyond initial consultation, lawyer will then charge his/her normal fees and will discuss them with you
• it is your decision whether to carry on further with the particular
